The Jimmy Butler saga is continuing, though it may not be heading in the direction that we would prefer.
According to a report made this morning by the New York Times’ Marc Stein, Butler and his agent, Bernie Lee, have informed Minnesota’s front office that Butler’s preferred trade destination has changed to the Miami Heat, instead of the LA Clippers.
Butler’s initial trade destinations were the New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, and the LA Clippers, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. It was rumored that the initial list could have as many as six teams included, and the Miami Heat were one of them.
