After a foot fracture sidelined him for nearly two months, LA Clippers guard Norman Powell is expected to come off the bench against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night, coach Ty Lue told reporters.
Powell was upgraded to questionable for the home game Wednesday afternoon. He was cleared to practice with the team on Tuesday.
His return is significant for the Clippers, who are preparing for the start of the Western Conference playoffs. The Clippers are 39-40 and locked securely in the eighth spot for the play-in tournament that is scheduled April 12-15.
