J.J. Redick, the Clippers’ starting shooting guard, recently missed three games with back spasms. It brought back memories of his first season with the Clippers when he missed more than half of the 2013-14 campaign with a bulging disk.
It’s something Redick is going to have to live with the rest of his career, and he knows it.
“It’s something I’ve had to be cognizant about since I was a rookie,” Redick said at the morning shootaround ahead of Friday’s game with the New Orleans Pelicans at Staples Center. “I have a degenerative disk. It’s not a secret.
