Jerry West sat down with Ernie Johnson of TNT to discuss West’s career as both a player and executive, the passing of Kobe Bryant, the possibility of not having a “Battle of LA” series between the LA Clippers and the Lakers and much more.
The battle between the Clippers and Lakers in the playoffs is something that has been hyped up since last summer when the former added Kawhi Leonard and Paul George while the latter added Anthony Davis to pair with LeBron James.
West lamented that we may not get to see the battle between the two as he realizes the greatness both teams are capable of.
