Jordan’s Consecutive Games Played Streak To End At 360

LOS ANGELES – The NBA’s active leader in consecutive games played will see his streak end at 360 straight games Wednesday night.

DeAndre Jordan will miss the Clippers’ matchup with the Heat with pneumonia, the same illness that forced him out the last time he missed a game in March 2011.

Head coach Doc Rivers said Jordan’s felt sick the last few days, spending some time at the hospital. Despite that, Rivers told Jordan and teammates he still wanted to play through the sickness until shortly before the game, when Jordan realized it would be impossible.
