SALT LAKE CITY >> For 15 hours, Joe Ingles had no one to talk to. He wondered if any other teams would call; if he was even good enough to play in the NBA; if the dream was dead.
His wife, Renae, was in the air on her way from Australia to Los Angeles and therefore shut off from the world when the Clippers lost their final exhibition game in 2014 against Portland, and game in which her husband was scoreless in five minutes.
