Jawun Evans, the Clippers’ spunky rookie point guard, hasn’t played since January 20th. That might change soon, as he practiced today, and said that he “feels great”. He couldn’t answer when asked if he would play tomorrow, saying “Leave it up to them (the training staff), whatever they tell me, I’m gonna do”.
It seems pretty unlikely that Evans would play after just one practice, especially since he hasn’t been on the court in a month and a half. Nonetheless, his practicing is a very good sign for the Clippers, who need all the help they can get down the stretch run.
