European hoops writer David Pick reports that LA Clippers Summer League star Jamil Wilson intends to opt out of his Euroleague deal for the upcoming season and instead sign an NBA two-way contract with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Wilson was a dark horse candidate for a roster spot coming into the Las Vegas Summer League but has impressed fans and experts alike with his efficient play with LA. The forward has averaged 13.5 points and 5.5 rebounds through the Clippers’ first four Summer League games while shooting an impressive 81 percent (22-27 on field goals) from the floor.
