Kevin Garnett becomes 'teacher' for Blake Griffin, L.A. big men: After Thursday’s practice at UC Irvine’s Bren Events Center, assistant Armond Hill and assistant video coordinator Natalie Nakase played a little one-on-one. While the two laughed as Hill drove to the basket, another "coach" on the other side of the court would have beaten anyone brave to challenge him, and he probably wouldn’t have been chuckling. That man was Kevin Garnett, the future Hall of Famer and 22-season veteran who retired last week. He was working with the LA Clippers on Thursday, helping Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and the rest of the team’s big men.
