OKLAHOMA CITY – Kevin Durant stood on the far corner court inside the sparkling practice facility, smoothly draining jumper after jumper.
Durant’s effortless stroke, one of the prettiest in the NBA, is part of what makes the almost 7-foot, 27-year-old forward unique.
He can handle the basketball like a point guard. He can shoot it like J.J. Redick or Kyle Korver. His arms stretch into next week and, again, he’s almost 7-feet tall (despite being listed at 6 foot 9).
And come July 1, 30 NBA teams would almost certainly alter their roster composition to get Durant on their squad.
