Former Clippers owner Donals Sterling sues V. Stiviano, TMZ over infamous recording

Former Clippers owner Donald Sterling, right, here watching a game in 2010, has sued V. Stiviano, left, whose recording of their conversation ultimately led to Sterling being forced to sell the team.

Donald Sterling and his attorneys have maintained that V. Stiviano’s now infamous recording of him making racist remarks was obtained illegally. Now, they’ve acted on that accusation.

The Clippers’ former owner has filed a lawsuit against Stiviano and TMZ, seeking damages for the recording and its distribution that led to the $2 billion sale of the team.
