The Clippers looked more like themselves Wednesday night at Oracle Arena. Unfortunately for them, so did the Golden State Warriors, who pulled away in the second half for a 114-98 victory. Here are five takeaways from the game:
1. Good usually isn’t good enough against the Warriors. The Clippers were clearly more focused and engaged than they had been over the weekend in consecutive losses to Memphis and New Orleans, but it didn’t matter. Chris Paul and J.J. Redick couldn’t make shots and the Clippers experienced a brief defensive lapse in the third quarter.
