LAS VEGAS – Former Lakers and Clippers star Lamar Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel Tuesday, according to multiple reports, and was taken to a Las Vegas hospital.
A spokesman for the Nye County Sheriff’s Office confirmed an incident involving Odom and said it was in the process of preparing a statement.
TMZ reported that Odom was found unconscious in a VIP room at the Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nev., after being there for several days.
The Lakers are playing an exhibition game against the Sacramento Kings in Las Vegas. Word that Odom had reportedly been hospitalized quickly spread through the locker room, with team staffers scrambling to find out which area hospital the 35-year-old Odom was taken to.
