Down 0-2, Trail Blazers trying to stay positive heading into Game 3 vs. Clippers

PORTLAND, Ore. – While C.J. McCollum stood on stage, accepting the NBA’s Most Improved Player Award, he might have accidentally touched on the one thing Portland has going for them headed into Game 3 Saturday at Moda Center.

Belief.

“If you don’t believe in yourself, who is going to believe in you?” he asked rhetorically.

Facing a 2-0 deficit, the Trail Blazers are going to have to take McCollum’s lead. They have to believe the series with the Clippers is far from over. They have to believe that things that have gone right throughout the season will start going right again.
