PLAYA VISTA, Calif. – In less than a day, Doc Rivers’ new Twitter account has gone from zero followers to nearly 15,000.
The Clippers head coach confirmed Tuesday he just joined the social media network, though he said he didn’t realize he was following 19 people and admitted he may not be on it much.
“I don’t know yet, I’ve never done it,” Rivers said. “Maybe I’ll have something to say. I plan on doing it more for charity stuff, to be honest. That was the purpose.”
Rivers said he can send out his own tweets, but he’ll be using Twitter more for information.
