Just over a month ago, Doc Rivers said that he’d agreed to an extension with the Clippers that would keep him in LA for years to come. However, at that time, the extension had not been finalized yet — just agreed to in principle.
That has since changed. Today, at the Clippers exit interviews, Doc told Andrew Greif of the LA Times that he’s officially signed his extension. The terms of the deal (in length or salary) are not known yet, but it has been indicated that the extension will be for a number of years.
