LOS ANGELES -- Uncertainty has been Blake Griffin's biggest opponent of late. The Los Angeles Clippers star had suffered a partially torn left quadriceps tendon in the first quarter of a Christmas Day win against the Los Angeles Lakers and was initially diagnosed to miss at least two weeks.
Optimistic that the five-time All-Star was ready to return, the Clippers had Griffin join the team in their five-game road trip at the end of January. It was on that trip that Griffin broke his right hand in an altercation with assistant equipment manager Matias Testi, an injury that was to sideline the high-flying power forward four-to-six weeks.
