LOS ANGELES-Bring Sixth Man talk up anywhere near DeAndre Jordan’s radar, and only one response will follow, as it did in the locker room of a recent home game.
“Sixth Mannnn of the Year,” Jordan exclaimed, turning his attention to Jamal Crawford. “Hey Jamal, can I write your speech for you? Is there a speech?”
Crawford’s always bashful when it comes to that kind of attention, but Jordan – just like the rest of Crawford’s teammates – believes his candidate has a strong case to become the first player ever to win Sixth Man of the Year three separate times, and he’s made his opinion known.
