LOS ANGELES -- Clippers rookie Branden Dawson was arrested Sunday morning on a felony domestic violence charge.
Dawson, 23, is being held on $50,000 bond by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. He was arrested at 8:30 a.m. PT and booked at 9:50 a.m. PT on Sunday.
Dawson was arrested for an incident involving his live-in girlfriend, a league source told ESPN's J.A. Adande. TMZ had earlier reported Dawson's arrest.
Dawson was recalled to the Clippers from the NBA Development League's Erie BayHawks on Saturday morning.
The 56th pick in the 2015 NBA draft, Dawson has appeared in three games for the Clippers and has 26 appearances in the D-League with the Bakersfield Jam, Grand Rapid Drive and the BayHawks.
