Let’s get the big news out of the way first: Kawhi Leonard didn’t travel with the L.A. Clippers Wednesday.
But don’t panic — he’s only set to miss a few days and eventually rejoin the team in Orlando.
Leonard reportedly got permission from the Clippers to address an undisclosed “family matter,” and is still expected to play when the Clippers restart their season July 30 against the Lakers.
So...deep breath. The initial half of that report sounds scary from a basketball perspective but for now, it does not appear to be any concern.
