It took about 24 hours, but the LA Clippers confirmed a three-way trade with the Detroit Pistons and Brooklyn Nets that was executed on Wednesday’s NBA Draft night.
LA confirmed they have acquired guard Luke Kennard and center Justin Patton from the Pistons, and the draft rights to guard Jay Scrubb from the Brooklyn Nets, and also four second round draft picks in the coming years (Portland 2023, Detroit 2024, 2025, 2026). In exchange, the Clippers sent Rodney McGruder to Detroit, Landry Shamet to Brooklyn, and the draft rights to Reggie Perry to Brooklyn.
