Wesley Johnson wasn’t healthy last season. It’s probably part of the reason why his hot three-point shooting from the early months cooled down, why his explosiveness wavered and why he experienced more inconsistencies in his game (despite having many through his career). Yet, even still, Johnson kept playing for the Los Angeles Clippers as he dealt with plantar fasciitis.
Plantar fasciitis can cause serious pain through the heel and the bottom of the foot, and first started with Johnson in one foot earlier in the season. As time went by, pain started in both feet and Johnson, rather than sitting out as the Clippers had already lost Blake Griffin, kept playing.
