The preseason is a tricky thing.
While the games don’t count – the wins and losses don’t matter – habits can be formed on the floor. And right now, three games into their preseason, the Clippers already have some bad habits to break.
Playing the first NBA game ever in Shenzhen, China on Sunday, the Clippers turned in another clunker, losing 106-94 to the Charlotte Hornets.
“I thought Charlotte played so much harder than us with a better spirit,” Clippers coach Doc Rivers told the Chinese media. “That’s going to take us time. It’s a work in progress.
