PLAYA VISTA – This was the Spurs’ big advantage.

Before San Antonio and the Clippers began their playoff series, it was the edge everyone knew the Spurs owned.

The Clippers would be dumb to try to compete with the Spurs’ experience, Doc Rivers said. It’s obvious. San Antonio owns five titles. Their core has been together forever, it seems, and their depth of postseason trials and experience couldn’t be overcome.
