After trading away DeAndre Liggins, the Clippers had two spots open for training camp. With one of them, they signed LaDontae Henton to a training camp deal. Henton is 25 years old, and went undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft. He has since spent time with Sevilla in the Spanish ACB League, the Alaska Aces in the Philippines, and the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G-League.
A 6’6’’ small forward, Henton played college basketball at Providence, where he was one of two players in the schools’ history to score 2000+ points and collect 1000+ rebounds.
