The Los Angeles Clippers’ Lou Williams won the NBA’s 2017-18 Sixth Man of the Year during the NBA Awards on Monday night. This was his second time winning the award, with the first coming as a member of the Toronto Raptors during the 2014-15 season.
Williams was the favorite heading into the award show after having a career season with the Clippers. With the departure of both Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, Lou was thrust into the role of primary scorer. He did not disappoint.
In 79 games, he averaged a career high 22.6 points per game.
