The L.A. Clippers had chemistry issues last season. In January, they waived Jordan Farmar and traded away Chris Douglas-Roberts and Reggie Bullock and brought in Austin Rivers, the son of coach Doc Rivers.
Then there was the Chris Paul-DeAndre Jordan thing that took on a life of its own in the offseason after the Clippers blew a 3-1 lead and lost to Houston in the Western Conference semifinals.
Coach Doc Rivers didn’t think it was all as bad as it was made out to be, however.
“Our chemistry was better than what we were credited for and I’m going to keep saying that,” he said before his team took on the Denver Nuggets in its exhibition opener Friday at Staples Center.
