LOS ANGELES – Luc Richard Mbah a Moute had the best year of his career with the Philadelphia 76ers last season, putting up career highs in minutes and points per game.
This season, his first with the Clippers, the minutes have halved, and the points have quartered, but he’s happy where he is. Even before Saturday’s trouncing, the Clippers (22-13) had already won more times than Philadelphia did throughout the 2014-2015 season, and they’ve come to appreciate Mbah a Moute’s sturdy, steady defensive work.
“It’s great,” Clippers coach Doc Rivers said Saturday. “He can literally guard all five positions.
