During the LA Clippers’ win over the Detroit Pistons on January 2, Paul George left the game with left hamstring tightness. He is expected to miss at least a few games. This is the time for Landry Shamet to shine.
Shamet, who had a great rookie season, has not seemed to catch his groove this year. He started the season with a wrist injury and then missed 16 games due to an ankle sprain. While he has had four double-digit scoring games in the eight games since his return, it doesn’t seem like he has yet adjusted to his new role.
