PLAYA VISTA – J.J. Redick headed back to the training room Friday wearing flip-flops instead of his usual Nike Kyrie 1 sneakers. It was a sure sign he wasn’t practicing for a second consecutive day.
While the Clippers guard wasn’t wearing his normal footwear, he tried to wear a smile as he discussed the lingering heel problems that have hampered his movement throughout the first two games of the playoffs. Redick bruised his left heel 10 days ago against Memphis.
“That’s been kind of frustrating, especially this time of the year, to not to be able to get your normal extra work in,” Redick said.
