Clippers guard Jamal Crawford named NBA's Sixth Man of the Year for third time

Jamal Crawford has been named the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year for a record third time, the league announced Tuesday.

Crawford received more votes than Golden State's Andre Iguodala and Oklahoma City's Enes Kanter.

In addition to being the first three-time winner, Crawford also is the oldest player to win the award, breaking the record he set when he won the award two years ago.

Crawford averaged 14.2 points per game, helping the Clippers win 50-plus games for the fourth straight season.

He'll receive the award in a ceremony Tuesday afternoon.
