Landing Kevin Durant in one way or another is the dream for the Los Angeles Clippers. Whether they can complete a Big 4 of Durant, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan as intended is entirely up in the air and seems like a major long shot at best. Gutting the team and creating cap space for a contract just shy of a max hardly seems likely.
And now with other players receiving deals that look more and more remarkable (Evan Turner is a four-year, $70 million man), even re-signing some of their current players may get more expensive than anticipated.
