Despite the usual pre NBA trade deadline speculation and hype, it’s been incredibly quiet. The Detroit Pistons have done well to land Donatas Motiejunas, Marcus Thorton and Tobias Harris, while the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Los Angeles Clippers to Channing Frye. There have been a few moves, but nothing major as many fans would have wanted to see a blockbuster go down.
For the Clippers, it looks like the general quiet nature of the deadline will apply to them, too. Even after looking around for deals to move Lance Stephenson, they haven’t managed to make anything happen.
