The Clippers got a scare, though things appear to sound worse than they actually are.
Chris Paul will not be able to play in the team's first game overseas after suffering a fractured left index finger Saturday in China.
According to a team official, the injury isn't considered serious and Paul would possibly play if Sunday's game in Shenzen (10:30 p.m. PST Saturday) were a regular season game.
He's not expected to miss extended time.
The Clippers are also without Austin Rivers, who suffered what the team is calling "mouth trauma" after take a shot to the face and losing teeth during practice.
