The Clippers looked like they were going to cruise into their fifth win of the season. They led by 31 points in the second quarter and were hitting literally every shot they took. However, the Suns didn’t go away. They battled back, cutting LA’s lead all the way down to one point in the fourth quarter.
Ultimately, the Clippers pulled away and secured the victory, defeating Phoenix 112-107.
With six minutes left in the second quarter, LA led 60-29. They were shooting 69 percent from the field and had already knocked down eight from deep. As we’ve seen far too many times, that rarely keeps up over the course of a game.
