A report from Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski on Wednesday said the Clippers were trying to create a traded-player exception that would allow them to sign veteran Paul Pierce.

Dan Woike's potential second-round sleepers:

PF Christian Wood, UNLV

SG Norman Powell, UCLA

They’re having a party for their season-ticket holders. They’re catering food and inviting media to come watch Thursday’s NBA draft at their facility. And they don’t even have a pick.

For now.

The Clippers will likely try to purchase their way into the draft and select a player in the second round.
