In the past four seasons, the Clippers have earned the right to be judged by their postseasons, and by that measure, the Clippers haven’t found success.
Sure, they’ve elevated the franchise into a position where people say “contender” and no one flinches. And considering where the franchise was before, that’s no small accomplishment.
But that’s not good enough for Steve Ballmer. It’s not good enough for Coach Doc Rivers. It’s not good enough for the players.
WHAT NEEDS TO CHANGE?
Simply, the Clippers haven’t been good enough.
The past two seasons, they’ve had chances to move to the Western Conference finals, but they’ve fallen short at the finish line in spectacular fashion.
