Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul passed Gary Grant for second place on the all-time franchise assists list during Tuesday's 111-94 win over the Denver Nuggets, per Sportsnet Stats.
Paul put up 15 points, 10 assists, three steals and two rebounds without committing a single turnover in the easy win. It was just his second turnover-free outing of the season, but he does now have five double-doubles, with each of those consisting of points and assists.
With 2,815 of his 7,043 career assists coming in a Clippers uniform, the 30-year-old Paul now sits five ahead of Grant (2,810) on the franchise's all-time helpers list.
