Los Angeles Clippers All-Star forward Blake Griffin apologized Tuesday for his role in an incident that caused him to break his right hand.
Griffin took to Twitter to address the situation:
On the team's recent road trip to take on the Toronto Raptors, Griffin was dining at a restaurant and allegedly punched a Clippers equipment staff member, according to ESPN's Michael Eaves.
Matias Testi, the man Griffin allegedly struck, is good friends with both Griffin and Los Angeles center DeAndre Jordan. Per ESPN's Arash Markazi, Testi has even gone on vacation with the two Clippers big men.
