Former first overall pick in 2013, Anthony Bennett shined bright recently for the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario. Agua Caliente (G-League affiliate of the LA Clippers) beat the Austin Spurs this past Friday, behind the 6’8″ power forward’s 36 points.
The defending 2017-2018 G-League Champion Austin Spurs had no answer for Bennett, who seemingly scored on every look he went for. He shot 8-9 from three, 12-13 from the field overall, and 4-4 from the free throw line. An absolute monster offensive performance that also included six boards and one assist. Defensively, Bennett logged one steal.
