In Saturday’s 2017 NBA G-League draft, the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario selected Tyler Roberson, Tyler Harris, and Josh Sykes. Roberson and Harris were taken with the 15th and 25th overall picks in the first round, respectively. Sykes was chosen with the 67th overall pick, in the third round.
Agua Caliente acquired the extra first-round pick in a trade following the expansion draft during the off-season. They traded away their second-round pick in a similar deal. The Clippers were one of several teams to not utilize their fourth-round selection.
Roberson is a 6’8” rookie power forward who recently concluded a four-year career at Syracuse University.
