REPORT: DeAndre Jordan Tells Clippers He Wants To Return, Reverse Mavs Decision

DeAndre Jordan has informed the Los Angeles Clippers that he wants to re-sign with the club, spurning the Dallas Mavericks with whom he had agreed to a multi-year deal last week, per sources cited by ESPN's Marc Stein and Ramona Shelburne.

According to Stein and Shelburne, "sources told ESPN.com that the unprecedented fluidity of Jordan's free agency has convinced the Clippers that they need to stay at Jordan's side until he can formally sign a new contract, given that Jordan has already changed his mind once in his process."

Per multiple reports, Clippers players, coaches and team officials remain at Jordan's house in Houston waiting for the league's free agent moratorium to be lifted at 12:01a EST -- the first allowable minute that a player can sign a new contract.

Regardless, Jordan has reportedly already informed the Clippers that he plans to renege on his agreement with the Mavs and it doesn't appear that either Mavs owner Mark Cuban or player/recruiter extraordinaire Chandler Parsons will have a chance to change his mind by the end of the night.
