Things are quiet on the Los Angeles Clippers front after the team was at the center of a trade rumor whirlwind for weeks, but that doesn't mean there isn't some VERY intriguing news & rumors tidbits to get to with the NBA Trade Deadline at the front of everyone's minds. Here's our Clippers NBA Trade Deadline Roundup.
Clippers Expected To "Stand Pat"
According to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports, the Clippers will not make a splash before the trade deadline:
Clippers are expected to stand pat through the trade deadline, but likely will sign a D-League big man to 10-Day deal soon, a source said.

True to Spears' report, the Clippers are planning to sign D-League rebounds leader Alex Stephenson to a 10-day contract (per Shams Charania of The Vertical). More Clippers news inside the Chat Sports iPhone and Android apps!
Griffin For Durant This Offseason?
The Los Angeles Clippers will hold on to Blake Griffin through the NBA Trade Deadline, but that doesn't mean that they won't use him as a trade chip.
In fact, he could end up being the centerpiece of a deal which lands the Clippers Kevin Durant this offseason, if Durant settles on Los Angeles as his next destination.
"Conflicting noise is spouting from Clipperville, but the smart money is on L.A. waiting until the summer to really get busy on the Griffin front. Doc Rivers wants to give this core one last postseason shot, and the Clips need Griffin just in case Kevin Durant picks them, triggering a Griffin-for-Durant sign-and-trade."
As Joe Giglio of NJ.com notes, "the idea of Durant playing for Rivers and Griffin heading back to his home state makes too much sense not to become a talking point in July."
Durant is an unrestricted free agent this summer, but the Oklahoma City Thunder will have the upper hand with the ability to offer him an extra year on a max deal. Griffin is due approximately $43.5 million over the final two seasons of his contract.
