Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul worked out on the court on Thursday, the first time since suffering a hamstring injury in Game 7 of their first round series against the San Antonio Spurs.
It still remains to be seen if he'll be able to play in Game 3 against the Houston Rockets.
Head coach Doc Rivers said that "everything is going well" with Paul:
"Those are the right steps," Rivers said. "My guess is it's going to come down to the eye and feel test. With hamstrings, there really is no gauge."
Paul, who turned 30 on Wednesday, sat out the first two games of the best-of-seven Western Conference semifinals with the hope that he'd be back at full strength for key games late in the series.
He has now missed back-to-back games for the first time since February 2014 after playing all 82 regular-season games this season for the first time in his career.
