The Los Angeles Clippers don't currently have a pick in the NBA Draft, but rumors say they're trying to trade to acquire a pick. Here are three potential trades they could make:
3) Trade two future second-round picks to Sixers for No. 47 pick
LA wouldn't make this move unless a big man fell in the draft. The Clippers desperately need bench help, and if Cliff Alexander or Robert Upshaw (both of whom were projected top-20 picks a few months ago but fell due to various issues) are available, they'll move to take one.
2) Trade future second-round pick, cash to Nuggets for No. 57 pick
Denver holds what would be the Clippers second-round pick at No. 57, but with their rebuilding effort, they may be willing to take a second-round pick next year and some cash instead of drafting a long-term project late in the draft.
1) Trade cash to Sixers for No. 60 pick
There is very little value in the last pick of the draft, especially for the Sixers, who have five second-round picks - including pick No. 58. While this may seem worthless for the Clippers, they're extremely interested in Duke's Quinn Cook.
Cook is expected to go undrafted, but this move would ensure they land him, and for cheaper than if they signed him as a free agent.
