If the San Diego Chargers need to sign a free agent WR to replace Stevie Johnson, who is having knee surgery, these are the guys they should target.
Stevie Johnson has a bad knee. At least, Stevie Johnson has an injured knee. A torn meniscus, if you want to be specific, and he’s set to have surgery on it and miss anywhere from 2 weeks to 26 weeks depending on who is speculating about it and the severity of the injury.
I’m not saying the San Diego Chargers need to necessarily sign a free agent WR to replace Stevie Johnson as the slot WR, but I thought I’d plan ahead and look at what is out there just in case the news is bad.
