Winston, young Rivers more alike than you think

Standing between the Chargers and a .500 record, for the second time in three weeks, is a Florida team wave-riding into San Diego but pegged as an underdog on betting lines.

The Tampa Bay Bucs, like the Miami Dolphins in Week 10, have won their past three games, two as an underdog.

Oddsmakers, sizing up the Sunday matchup (1:25 p.m.) at Qualcomm Stadium, favor the Chargers (5-6) by 3½ points. The line is similar to their 4-point favoritism going into the 31-24 loss to Miami.

The Bucs (6-5) have defeated, in order, Chicago (2-9), Kansas City (8-3) and Seattle (7-3-1) in their past three games, the second of which was on the road.
