With the 200th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Chargers selected outside linebacker Emeke Egbule out of the University of Houston.
At 6-foot-2 and 245 pounds, Egbule offers a wealth of versatility for a sixth-round pick. Due to playing on the outside in H-Town, Egbule’s role with the Chargers’ defense looks to be at the LEO defensive currently held by Melvin Ingram. Uchenna Nwosu was drafted last year to provide depth at the position and with Kyle Emanuel retiring this offseason, Egbule looks to now add some more depth.
