For the late Don Coryell to gain induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, a change in how former coaches are voted upon could be the ticket.
That's the view of two voters who agree with fellow voter Nick Canepa, a U-T columnist, that if coaches could be designated as "contributors," Coryell's induction chances would rise.
Echoing Canepa's oft-stated point, voters Ron Borges of the Boston Herald and Rich Gosselin of the Dallas Morning News, in comments to 1090 AM's Dan Sileo, fleshed out their thoughts on Corryell.
