Good morning.
Jay Paris of The Mighty 1090 AM radio calls the San Diego Chargers' re-signing of general manager Tom Telesco earlier this season baffling, including the organization not announcing the new deal.
Paris: “What was the rush with Telesco? Why didn’t the club see how 2015 developed (here’s a hint: not very good) before hitching its wagon to Telesco? Under Telesco’s watch, the Chargers have gone from competitive to embarrassing, especially when playing AFC West foes.”
My take: With all of the uncertainty off of the field, the Chargers chose to create some certainty on the football side of things by keeping Telesco around for a few more years.
